Meet Our Founder

Alex Roth

Alex is a passionate advocate for recovery who found sobriety at age 19 after struggling with substance use as an adolescent. His personal journey has given him a deep understanding of the challenges young people face and the power of change. Today, Alex is dedicated to helping others navigate their own paths to recovery by offering support, guidance, and hope, while inspiring individuals to believe that recovery is possible.

With over 12 years of experience in the substance use recovery field, Alex has worked with individuals at every stage of recovery, from early intervention to long term sobriety. His background includes addiction treatment, relapse prevention, and personalized recovery planning, as well as close collaboration with families, treatment centers, and support groups to help people rebuild their lives and maintain lasting recovery.

With over a decade in the recovery field, Alex has held a variety of roles that have shaped his understanding of what true recovery requires. From managing halfway houses and supporting residents in early sobriety to guiding individuals through detox and outpatient programs, his experience spans every stage of the recovery process, deepening his commitment to helping people rebuild their lives with purpose and stability.

He works closely with individuals, families, schools, and community partners to ensure everyone he serves receives compassionate, effective support. Whether in hospitals, nonprofit programs, or community settings, he has built a reputation for delivering meaningful outcomes and fostering long-term recovery success.

Since 2013, Alex has consulted with a range of organizations, from local nonprofits to major reentry programs across northern New Jersey, bringing recovery-focused insights to law enforcement agencies, schools, and community initiatives. His work supports long-term recovery goals such as personal growth, career development, and building sustainable support systems. Alex’s own journey through recovery has enabled him to live a happy, healthy life, demonstrating the possibilities of lasting change and commitment to helping others.
